As you can see, things look a little different around here now. This is actually something I've been working on for some time - hunting for the right template, figuring out how to set it up, playing around with layouts on my test site, and of course, obtaining all the necessary ingredients for the new logo.
So. Credit where credit is due:
The new template is called Keeshep. I've modified it a bit to suit my needs.
The logo font is called Anke Calligraphic FG, and it was created by Anke Arnold.
The logo graphic was created by the incredibly talented Richard Svensson especially for this website. It is ink and watercolor. You can see more of Richard's artwork at his gallery. He is accepting commissions!
So. What do y'all think? Like it? Hate it? Notice any glitches?
UPDATE: It looks like the banner at the top does not display correctly in Internet Explorer 6; it is supposed to be transparent on a red background, and instead it shows up as a white rectangle. Of course, if you're still using IE6 you should probably think about upgrading anyway.

Eww...
Sargeras looks like drunk half-troll-half-dwarf in that picture.
Warm colours? Check.
Blood? Check.
Coffee? Check.
A mass amount of fire? ...No check.
Also missing Haiku poems, I'm dissapointed...
I LOOOOOVE it!
I'm a little peeved, though, because I've secretly been working on a new layout and I've commissioned an artist for a new banner, too. Ha!
Love it, top image is my new backround. So now my laptop will greet me whenever its turned on with some flaming leviathan with coffee goodness. Love it. No glitches, except the lack of more ask sargeras posts.
Tom wants moar.
@ jojoza: And what, exactly, is wrong with that?
@ bfg: Seems to be a lot of demand for haikus these days. I'll see what I can do.
@ Ariedan: Bwahahaha!! >8D Can't wait to see yours too. Btw, when is that new domain coming?
@ tom: You're in luck. New mailbag post coming Thursday.
Love the new look! It's very inviting, in a terrifying kind of way! Your friend needs to commission more "portraits" of your bad-ass self!Great job to Mr. Webmaster, I'm sure Sargeras is pleased.
@sarge
Ooh! *runs off to write questions*
You look too fleshy. I thought you were made of metal and fire.
There are titans in ulduar that have the whole metal look to them, metal skin, so to speak.
Absolutely love new site design :D Too bad it's just coffee you're drinking there, I thought something like Klingon blood wine would be more befitting for someone like you
Not red enough.
(in all seriousness, I like it.)
It's coming... eventually. I sort of want to do it all at once, and the artist I commissioned has a waiting list. :(
random demon: "dude, there is blood ripping from the frigging wall behind you!!! Couple of planets at once, from the size o them splatter it seems!!"
Sargeras: "Great, now I have to get some infernals to clean is again. Hmm, coffee needs more souls. *yawn*"
@ Leochica & ladyharken1: Why thank you! :-)
@ Wazooty: Please note, that picture was taken before I had begun sipping my coffee.
@ MoKTC: The blood wine is for the evenings. ;-)
@ Alkaliho: Have you been wiretapping my phone?? :-O
This makes me slightly less bothered by my imminent destruction.
I like... although staring at the coffee mug makes me want to visit Starbucks. wth??
Hahaha, I love the logo! The "Don't Worry" coffee cup is a wonderful touch :-)))
I also approve of the color scheme!
your face looks larger compared to your head now :-D
Excellent site design, a big improvement from what it looked like previously.
However, I think you should ignore the complaints about how it's not rendering correctly in IE6. IE6 is terrible, old and needs to DIE. As the Destroyer of Worlds I feel it only necessary to let IE6 melt into a fine sauce.
...typo!
*As you are the Destroyer of Worlds, I feel it only necessary to let IE6 melt into a fine sauce.
@ Sindrow: It does seem oddly appropriate for the Dark Titan, doesn't it?
@ Anonymous: Yes the face/head ratio has improved dramatically. ;-)
@ Nyaz: Actually I checked my statistics and it looks like only a handful of my readers are using IE6 anyway. Which is good, really.
@ Sargeras: There is nothing wrong with that only if you _are_ a drunk half-troll-half-dwarf -.- and then we have something VERY wrong here.
I was expecting the coffee cup to be much larger, honestly.
Page looks good.
Now, regarding the IE6 issue, as a web developer i can tell you that it is because of the format of the image, because IE6 can't handle transparencies on PNG images correctly.
There are some hacks (workarounds sounds better =p) to deal with this, and making the image in another format (JPG with matching background, or GIF) would solve the issue for IE6 users too; however, as a web developer i feel that IE6 should DIAF, so please keep it that way and perhaps people will understand why it sucks.
Nice site, keep up the good work.
@ Metallan: Thanks, I figured it was something like that.
