J4!

Happy Fourth of July to all you United Statesers out there! To everyone else, well, you can be happy too I suppose. You'll all die soon enough, why not get in a chuckle here and there.

What was I saying? Oh yes. Independence Day.

Nobody knows exactly where this holiday originated, of course. Something about freedom, or democracy? Well, whatever; history is murky. The important thing is that we celebrate it by blowing stuff up in the sky, and that's where I come in.

You see, when I explode planets full of organic life, it's not just an exercise in nihilism. No! It's a celebration of liberty! I detonate civilized worlds for the sake of a better tomorrow. Don't think about it, it'll make more sense that way.

Remember, it's like Thomas Jefferson said: "Shit, son, we 'bout to get some sky hurt up in this bitch!"

Was that Jefferson? Maybe that was Franklin. I can never keep them straight.

Anyway. Light some sparklers, set off some firecrackers, and think of me.

Because nothing says red, white and blue like red, red and red.

Have a good weekend!

But red, white and blue can just be varying elements and temperatures of when you blow/burn/incinerate/decimate/annihilate/explode stuff up!

Your dedicated Acolyte from Sweden finds the fourth of July as kind of "meh".
Why? Well, I 'unno. We don't really celebrate it here.

Also, blow up stuff, yay!

Your faithful servants in Germany won't celebrate it either. But there is an upside to everything. America celebrates their Independence Day and we get to have 'Rheinkultur' this weekend.

I will set something on fire to celebrate your ongoing rampage in this and every other universe.

Nothing celebrates our independence more than setting off firecrackers... which is against the law in most areas.

Sorcer - what is Rheinkultur? Its not on Wikipedia and the webpages I've found are in German, which is a bit of a problem for me. :(

@ Warraven:
Rheinkultur is an open-air festival where different artists play music for free.
It takes place in Bonn at the meadow of the river Rhein.
Actually pretty cool, but I think it's a coincendence that it's on 4th of July.
It's no holyday, but it's still pretty awesome.
Listening to music till deep in the night with your pals having fun :)

@ Nyaz: Well, I get almost seven times more visitors from the U.S. than from any other single country. A little cultural diversity won't hurt you, I promise. ;-)

@ Sorcer: Sounds awesome. Pics or it didn't happen?? ;-)

Dear Mr. Sargeras,
it would be a pleasure to send you some pictures, but I have to way for my camera to charge battery and have to wait for some pictures of my friends :)
BTW: I just returned from the festival. It was like... 30°C out there (don't know how much °F that would be) and I was already praying for some rain, but it did not rain... So there were roughly 171.000 people sweating... but I guess you don't mind sweat at all... I mean... you're burning metal, that's gotta count for something, right?

Getting now some sleep,

yours faithfully

Sorcer

@Sargeras: That's because the U.S is cheating with a much larger landmass than any single one country in Europe. If Sweden could exapand over onto... well, Russia has a lot of mass, we too could take up the fight!

Ah, except I suppose internets is scarce in the darkest, coldest pits of Siberia... damn, didn't think of that.

Uh oh, Sarge, looks like you've appeared on Worldofwarcraft.com's first page with your vent recordings!

(Oh wait, that dates back from the 1st!)
